Elsie was born on 18 Aug 1895 at Bardwell, Suffolk
Her father was Stephen Cawley.
Her mother was Naomi Hersom.
She married George William Ottley on 3rd June 1922 at St Mary's Church Bury St Edmunds.
She died at the East Suffolk Hospital on 24th January 1951.
She was the second youngest of eight children and adored her brother Francis who died in WW1. She was the second wife of George Ottley and they lived in Norton where her daughter Evelyn Ruth was born in 1923. They then moved to Sweffling and in 1931 her son Francis George was born ,named after her beloved brother. Elsie had bad health in later life as she was a diabetic, before good treatment was available, and she died relatively early aged 56.
